This is one of the earliest case reports of "vaping pneumonia" I could find, from August. The bulk of the cases started in August.
Naysayers pretend that the vaping illness was caused by vitamin E oil. But this is false:

1) 40% of the cases used vapes that did not contain vitamin E

2) when you filter out the vaping illnesses, "unexplained respiratory illness" was still much higher among non-vapers in August 2019 than in 2018.

3) Any attempt to blame this on vapes would require that vape formulation was changed drastically in the year 2019. There is no evidence of this.
