The problem for most anons here is that they don't understand which numbers actually matter. They look at a country's IQ and base their development potential off of that. While that is helpful it is not the only metric for development. Another number that matters is a nation's population. The reason for this is because the higher the population, the higher amount of outliers they will yield.

A good example is India, their national IQ is only around 82. But they have 1.3 billion people. If you take their top 5% of the population that will account for 65 million people who should at least have an IQ of 110. Their top 1% would be 13 million with at least an IQ of 120. Their top 0.1% would be 1.3 million with at least an IQ of 130. This is easily enough to continue scientific development. A thing to note is that Nigeria's average is supposedly 84 IQ. But lets assume their 82 IQ too and they reach the 700 million mark population wise in 2100. Their top 5% would be 35 million with at least 110 IQ, while their top 1% would be at least 7 million at an 120 IQ. Their top 0.1% would be 700k with at least 130 IQ.

The thing here is I'm being really conservative with these estimates because realistically at least 12.5% of both populations should be around 120 IQ assuming the 82 IQ average is true. That's 162.5 million people in India right now. While a hypothetical Nigeria of 700 million would be 87.5 million people with around 120 IQ. So even a conservative low ball estimate gives Nigeria 35 million people with an IQ of 110 or more to work with. For reference there are around 11 million Ashkenazi Jews globally and they've been able to contribute to science very handily with that small population.

But what do I know I'm just some second rate engineer spitballing numbers off my head here.

Why when people meditate for 16 hours to they perceive traveling to other dimensions and talking to strange creatures who live there?

Why is doing that level of meditation proven to be very positive to physical and mental health?

If there is no mental deficit, damage, or disability that comes with trying it, then what is unscientific about pursuing deep meditation and writing down the data (memories) of such fantasies on paper to figure out what is happening in the brain when we do this?
