Hasn't it basically been impossible to buy into since the 2010s? I'm 25, so I became an adult in 2013, at which point a single Bitcoin was around $1,000, later dropping to $500.
Holy fuck, I just noticed, I got a $6,750 inheritance in 2014, if I'd invested in Bitcoin, I could've bought 11 BTC, now worth $287,346. Ahh!

>Clotting is fucked
>Consultant says she is close to the end
>Husband just looks down
>Finish wardround and go to see him
>He's just sat there holding her hand
>Starts to thank me for talking to him loads, says he knows his wife was listening
>Gets out his wallet and trys to show me photos of his wife and him when they were young

ITT: I have to choose either a shitty undergrad course or take a gap year and I don't know what to do

Being this year's high school graduate I applied to study computer science as I am interested in the subject with particular interest in programming and artificial intelligence. Unfortunately, due to personal problems that are now past me, I underperformed greatly on my finals and only got accepted into an ICT course. My only two options now are to either take a gap year or enroll in the ICT course. The thought of being a whole year behind, feeling stuck and watching as everyone else makes progress in their lives just to get to reattempt my finals seems excruciating. As I'm currently under the care of a psychotherapist and doing a whole lot better, I'm afraid taking a gap year would eventually make my depression come back and render my reattempting finals efforts futile. On the other hand, as I want to become a programmer in the future, I could go for the ICT course and then choose some computer science master's. The thing is, I'm not sure if I'd get accepted for such a master's given how different the ICT syllabus is compared with CS. Even if I managed to do that, it looks to me like I'd be at a big disadvantage anyways competing for jobs with people who had started studying programming with their undergrad course, not just their master's. I'd also have to spend three and a half years studying something I'm not really interested in. Even though I'm finally getting a grip and erasing mental turmoil from my life, I have a very hard time deciding what I want to do in this situation and I would love to get to know your insight/recommendations. My goal is to become a programmer through choosing the best way out of the situation I've found myself in.

They're not viable power sources, actively shill against nuclear, and will raise my power bill considerably. A friend signed up for solar in a provider state and his energy costs more than doubled. The adoption of shit technology raises cost and fools people into believing a fantasy that the entire world is going to run on windmills, sunshine and candy, making them think that big bad nuclear will never be needed.
I do not believe in market solutions. I do not believe in democracy. We need a state transition to nuclear power as the French did. Pretending to be totally impartial only gives room for a corrupt industry filled with charlatans and venture capitalists to actively sabotage the only concrete solution eliminating fossil fuel power stations. Wind and solar industry can go hell, along with their lobbying efforts.

Fuck guys, I used to believe accelerating change would really take effect in our lifetime but I’ve this growing feeling that we were born a generation or two too early for the last big leaps that’d make us eternal.

Oh fuck, I just spotted my error.
>5+2b=13-5=8
8 = value of both whistle pairs
Therefore, a single whistle pair is 4.
Therefore, the value of a single whistle is 2, not 4.
Therefore, the value of whistle boy is 5-2=3, not 1.
Oh, shit, oh no, oh fuck...
