You heavily overestimate how efficiant they're and underestimate the length needed. We're talking a several % loss in just 1000km. And 1000km doesn't translate to 1000km actually travelled. Transmission lines aren't built in a perfectly straight tensionsed line on flat ground. Especially fucking underwater. Something like a transatlantic grid would lose like half of it to fucking transmission loses at best.

They're decent enough if its between smaller countries relatively close to each other like Norway to England or Sweden to Finland. Not for the greentard dream of subsaharen Africa powering the entire European continent through solar.

How the fuck is it Schizophrenia and intelligence are negatively correlated? I would think it would be just the opposite (schizos are usually into all kinds of crazy and convoluted esoteric theories)
