All the "science" I find online about psychedelics only talks about the benefits of taking them. There are some Ted Talk videos on YouTube but they only mention the benefits. All other YouTube videos about psychedelics are created by hippies and stoners, all spewing the same shit, pure pseudoscience.

What exactly is going on in the brain during a trip? It can't be all good. It just can't. I highly doubt rewiring your brain to the point of hallucinating and having out-of-this-world thoughts and feelings can be healthy without negative consequences.

Anyone have some real, hard science information about this?

BTW I do psilocybin mushrooms once or twice a year. They're a wonderful experience. I'm just tired of hearing about them only from new age "woo woo" stoners.
