Fucking ignorant and lazy normie.

The true vocation of man is to become the best possible, and thus to embody within himself the ideal of humanity. And this ideal is focused on development - a fulfilled person is a person who makes full use of his or her development possibilities.

The sense of life is the state of perfection and harmony of thinking and action, which leads a person to the heights of his possibilities,

Modernity, on the other hand, with its apotheosis of man, has changed everything. Modern man is affirmed as he is. Already at the starting point he thinks that he is good enough and does not need development and fulfillment in his life. Otherwise, he could not be considered in his own eyes as equal to other people. Therefore, instead of overcoming himself and becoming someone else (better form of himself), he has to be himself, to be and remain who he is. For me, the value of human life is not closed in reproducing the same forms and schematics, but it requires going beyond for something new in his life.

>People eat unhealthy food because of their lies about what is healthy.

This is DEFINITELY not a true.

When I am buying pizza , casserole , hamburgers or chips , I have the unpleasant awareness that this junk food is:
-contains too much fat to be considered healthy
-contains too many preservatives, flavor additives, other harmful chemicals to be considered healthy
-contains too much sugar to be considered healthy

Despite this awareness, I still buys them. Do you know why?

Because I like its TASTE and SMELL. But despite eating junk food I am still slim . Do you know why ?

Because I am not eating junk food every day , even not every week , I am eating junk food only 1 time per whole month.

EVERYTING CAN BE ADDICTIVE. Do you know that you can become addicted to a particular kind of food? Drink? Or even customs and certain modes of day/week like watching Television or using Computer ALL THE DAY ?

Everything can be too bad for us in too big dosage, and an addiction works both ways - you can get addicted to good things, and you can get addicted to good things infinitely strongly
from bad things. We're addicted to specific emotions, people.

However, there are things we have to do, such as eat, shit, pee, sleep, etc. You are also addicted to air. Is that bad?

Addiction itself is not a problem. The problem is when an addiction drags you down or destroys your life. For example, when someone can't control themselves anymore and drinks every day to the fallen man without looking at anything. He collapses his job, his relationship with his family, then he's not even ready to drink, and still can't change that.

>It won't get better until political issues are resolved

Rather SOCIAL and DEMOGRAFIC PROBLEMS than just a "political issues".

However, somewhere in western Europe at the end of the Middle Ages, a different approach to improvement than in earlier historical periods began to emerge. Things were improving NOT JUSTto survive, but to improve, to check. Change for change's sake, not out of necessity. This new way of thinking developed slowly to explode with full force in the 19th century. Eccentrics, inventors, madmen discovering something became "pop stars". Thinking and discovering became fashionable. It lasted somewhere until the middle of the 20th century and became commonplace.
In my opinion, nowadays invention is not fashionable, but only desirable to satisfy consumers, which means that we partly return to thinking from before this revolution, but on a different level. We expect that there will be inventions, but the people who design them are not famous, and these are just another anonymous work, which we do not admire but demand.
Admittedly, there are universities, pop-culture productions promoting slogans: "all the way forward", "don't give up", "it's all up to you", "you make your way", but how many people listen to them? There is no such a push for these slogans anymore and I am afraid that we are entering another period of stagnation, but at a higher level of development, which in turn is more difficult to maintain in the case of the REALLY HUGE CATASTROPHE as : an eruption of some volcanic caldera / super volcano, hitting some giant rock straight from space, a deadly epidemic on a global scale (not like the overrated "Covid-19/Coronavirus"), but on a similar scale to the famous Black Death from medieval Europe resulting in the deaths of 30% to 60% of Europe's population.

What will we do if REALLY HUGE CATASTROPHE and WORLD-WIDE catastrophe will happened ?

>why would I trade the majority of my remaining lifespan

Maybe , because being boring NPC called "normal average person" is pathetic ?

Why agree to be a grey citizen just the same like a million other people? It wouldn't be better if they spend time of the life to write a novel that will last a thousand years? Recording great music, painting a timeless piece of art , making great film, making unique inventions, making extraordinary discoveries or creating a new interesting philosophy ?

Rather it is effect of fact that vast majority of people who are are part of society in every country are MORE IMPERFECT than you think . Basically they are biological robots driven by simple instincts : lust or lechery , desire of money, food, fame, power, or sex , gluttony , greed , laziness , wrath , envy , pride .

Society doesnt want to create REAL PROGRESS. At the same time, reality is the opposite of my expectations. In my opinion, invention is currently not fashionable in 2020, but only desirable to satisfy consumers, which means that we are partly back to thinking from before this revolution, but at a different level. We expect that there will be inventions, but the people who design them are not famous, and these are just another anonymous work, which we do not admire but only demand. There is no such a push for these slogans anymore, and I am afraid that we are entering another period of stagnation, but at a higher level of development, which in turn is more difficult to maintain in case of "misfortune".

>do we have souls, /sci/?

Dont fool yourself in belief of some spirituality or existing of "soul" .Vast majority of humanity are souless biological robots driven by : Lust or lechery , desire of money, food, fame, power, or sex , gluttony , greed , laziness , wrath , envy , pride .

This is WHAT WE REALLY ARE! And now try to in a rational manner explain how people can be spiritual beings having souls in a soulless, deprived of spirituality modern civilisation.

P.S. : I am waiting for your answer OP .

>Why humans always ask questions?

Are you joking ?

Vast majority of people dont ask any unnecessary questions , they are just passive observers of reality . Basically they are biological robots incapable of creative and independent thinking, not some kind of philosophers or thinkers.

>Don't do this, this just kills your brain.

Look at so called "normal" people who were never taking ANY dopamine increasing drugs . Arent they much more braindead than me ?

I am not drinking alcohol , I am not taking any illegal , street drug , I am not smoking marijuana or even cigarettes , I am not eating junk food , I am execising regularly . And you DARE to tell me that a bit increased level of dopamine in my brain is killing my brain ?
