Yeah the plan was to rely on the booster as little as possible for alignment, as the boosters get better you can start stripping down the arm to be more basic/reliable.

I agree a lot of the stuff needs to be beefed up a bit (or a lot), but I was mostly going for what it would look like, I'm no structural engineer either.

It was all drawn in solidworks, and if I tried to run an FEA on it I think my computer would shit itself. The best route would probably be to redraw it in something like TEKLA while only doing actual FEA on things like the hinges and rails/wheels.

As for the cantilever loads, thats why I put the extension at the top and ran some anchoring cables as well. It's all just me guessing, though.
