Sexual orientation is a choice.
=
You are presented with vanilla and chocolate flavored ice creams, you dont like any of those yet, but you have to choose one, once you choose, you will start liking it forever.
But remember if you pick chocolate, everyone will hate you and your life is gonna be miserable and you will be suicidal.

Who would pick chocolate?
No one.
But still so many people think somehow its a valid argument.

Just a straight guy that likes using logic.

If i make a hole towards the center of the earth ant to the other side of the earth.
And i fell in it, as i approached the center of the earth, how gravity would work?
Would the middle have strong gravity? or no gravity?

hello /sci/
Having access to a higher number of dimensions than we do means being able to move from one point to another, without being forced to take a path in our 3D world. (ie: time travel)
Tunnel effect is related to this, since particles can move from one point to another without following a path in this universe that is "accessible" to us.
So...are particles time travelers? Will we be able to use such things in case it's true?

I have a conceptual trouble with this tiny basic C code:
int abc(n);
main()
{
int k;
printf("%d", abc(k));
}
abc(n)
{
if (n <= 1)
return (1);
else
return(n * abc(n-1) );
}

abc function says to check if n is smaller or equal to 1 return it as "1", else multiply n with abc( n-1)
This confuses me, its a function inside its own function inside its own function etc.

I tried with the number "4" and it resulted to 24.
So first is 4* abc(4-1)=4*3=12, second is 4* abc(3-1)=4*2=8, third is 4*abc(2-1)=4*1=4.
A total sum of 24. My problem is HOW does it remember the previous number and add it up?
I think the output should be "4", because it does all that but nowhere in the code shows that it adds up each time.
Also how it remembers to lower 'k' each time? It should be 4-1 every time, not 3-1,2-1.
It doesnt have a counter for it.
Halp.

Hey /sci/, I was hoping you could answer my quick question: How fast does electricity travel down a wire? I know about AC and DC, and the fact that the electrons that make up AC current don't actually move anywhere, while DC current electrons move extremely slow. Say I have a long cord that has no resistance in it, and I were to plug it in to start the current, how fast would the "signal" travel down the cord towards the end?

I'll post the possible reactions:

HOCl + NH3 --> NH2Cl + H2O
2HOCl + NH3 --> NHCl2 + 2H2O
3HOCl + NH3 --> NCl3 + 3H2O

Elemental chlorine and hydrochloric acid would arise from the decomposition of the dichloramine and nitrogen trichloride:

2NHCl2 --> N2 + 2HCl
