Why do you browse /sci/ instead of forums?

no archive so same threads and no building off of previous information
no post history or rep so trolls are unidentifiable and unaccountable

/Sci/entifically speaking, what logical reason is there to continue living for people that haven't proved that an unjustifiable-feeling* doesn't exist?

*unjustifiable-feeling = feeling (noun) that makes any other feeling (noun) not worth feeling (verb).

You call yourself /sci/entists yet you believe we won't be conscious again? However we are conscious now, it proves that consciousness is possible, therefore when we die it is obvious to think it could be possible again. Can anyone explain why they think the universe will end permanently given that if it doesn't, there will be an infinite amount of time for whatever makes us conscious now to make us conscious again.

I'm sure you know any possibility given infinite time is "almost certainly" going to happen (%99.99...).

So unless the universe ends in a way that we couldn't ever possibly be conscious again, odds are overwhelmingly in favor of us being conscious again given that consciousness is something that can happen more than once.

I just want to know if /sci/ agrees that something cannot be done after an infinite amount of other things have been done.

Also, after answering that please tell me how you've rationalized Xeno's Paradoxes.

To those of you incapable of humanity's greatest power, original thought, what will you do when computers do your formula-applying, fact-memorizing, & logical concluding better than you?

Honestly, I'm just posting for those of you who haven't had it occur to them that they should major in something humans will have the advantage in the longest, and that is original thought.
