Man these people really are missing the boat. You could in principle write C++ to make it pass the Turing test, give it a constructed artificial non-biological body that could pass a casual visual inspection, and voila.

It's the same thing as you. You are a brain inside of a machine, your body. Your brain /is/ a computer exactly like a desktop is a computer. Just yours is properly structured and "coded" so that you're conscious. If we copied the structure and "code" to our walking desktop in the artificial body, then you couldn't tell the two apart.

Your silly antics of "simulated sperm isn't real sperm" has nothing to do with anything.

Every day thousands of people die because of starvation, illnesses and war; yet your biggest problem is that we don´t have enough gold and that we should invest a trillion to get more of it so we could build better electronic devises.

You should all feel bad.

This is the most retarded thread I was given to ever see on /sci/.
Also the most pathetic trolling attempt.

>We only live in a 3D world because we have 2 synchronyzed eyelenses that are twodimensional. What if they were threedimensional?

I don't know where you heard this, but it is completely fucking retarded. The eye lens is, believe me, a three-dimensional object.

Yes, the fact that there is two of them aids stereopsis, which gives us depth perception, but that's completely beside the fucking point.

Simple concept really. Consider bears. Every species of bear we know of is dangerous and will kill humans at the slightest provocation. Every species of bear except a branched off subspecies that has adapted to eating nothing but bamboo shoots politely. Coincidence? I think not. What's not clear to me is the mechanism. In other words can munching meat in of itself trigger some complex hormonal chain reaction in mammals whereas lack of meat just scales back the aggressiveness? Or is it the more obvious correlation where having to hunt prey naturally favors an alpha male type of psycho bear? And more importantly what effect does meat have on humans?
