I was thinking about the power set of R*R(Cartesian product, R = reals) and decided I wanted to think about the same thing but for our universe instead of a 2d plane. My initial thought was to model it as 3 dimensions for position and another for time, but this will not do. Then I think why not the above except I will add something to account for protons, but again this will not do. I realise at this point that I do not know enough physics to do this beyond retard level so I try and put it out of my mind. The curiosity persists however so I have decided to ask you. So my questions

-Is time continuous?
-Is position continuous?(or is there a smallest possible distance moved?)
-Assuming an atom is the smallest building block, what are its characteristic properties?
-Is the universe infinite in 3d size?

Basically I want to construct an ordered list that describes the fundamental unit of the universe. To be super clear something such as this,

A = {(x,y,z,t) | x,y,z,t in R }
then P(A) = every possible subset of R^4.

If i can get an ok model of the basic block for our universe, I can maybe think about every possible permutation our universe could take.
