Anon, I won't go into too much detail, but I am confident that I'm on the right side of the bell curve. But, no matter how much I study or refine my intuition, I will NEVER be on the level of Von Neumann. Does this mean I am not valuable as a person? No.

Sure, I probably won't single-handedly develop a new area of study that people will be frantically decoding well past my death, but I don't derive enjoyment from that stuff. I enjoy puzzles, food, music (especially solo piano), history, and sex. Literal 80 IQ niggers can achieve happiness, so there is nothing stopping you from doing the same.

How to do research outside uni? My dream is to have my own lab and be a mad scientist without having to advance through endless degrees and professor's cocks.

Everything I listed was gradual over the last year so maybe. I was going to work on my second book today and I though, it won't sell, and if it does I won't care so why bother.
Any time I do or think about anything it always comes back to, "it does not matter".

Why do people like him?
