I have a good friend who has Dyscalulia
He is so bad at math he failed basic math, and can't do much more than count on his fingers
Is anyone aware of any options or techniques he might be able to use to help him?

this is not a joke man.
im just being skeptical, since we successfully landed on the moon in 1969.
and keep in mind, in 1969 the tech was so primitive you had to pay 10,000$ for a computer that serves as a functional notepad/calculator.
with this in mind, i don't see any reason why there shouldn't be skepticism

Any good books that are an intro to neuroscience? Like Hawking's Brief History of Time. Not rigorous, but a very inspiring overview. I kind of like the subject, but I know little and I'd like to read something that gives me the passion to start reading more dry and rigorous texts.
