NASA's been pitching the idea of adding BA modules to the ISS. They'll probably add a couple in a few years once the 330s are finished. A couple of those and you could double the station's crew size.

Now if it can just survive a vote in the Senate we might finally start getting some shit done.

- Add a second shuttle mission in late 2011
- Start development of an HLV immediately rather than in 2015 (and from what's been released so far it sounds like they're going the SDHLV approach, something along the lines of the Jupiter rocket proposed by DIRECT)
- Start development of a deep space vehicle by 2016
- Only $1.6 billion for commercial spaceflight

It doesn't sound half bad. My biggest concern with the Obama proposal was that the timetable was way to drawn out and now that's been corrected. What do you guys think of it? What are it's odds of actually passing a vote in the Senate?
