OP here. After careful deliberation, I have determined that not only are most people on /sci/ retarded, they believe that whatever field they go into is the only good one (despite going to shit tier colleges).

- It appears some retards go as far to say "I don't hate CS -- I hate the people in it." I don't understand how it's possible to justifiably stereotype an entire major. I'm no fedora-wearing faggot in a trench coat; I'm a nigger with a relatively high IQ with many accomplishments on the local, state, and national level for mathematics exams (primarily the AMC). I also have a healthy social life (at least relative to you ass burgers), so I don't know why this stereotype against CS is actually justified in your tiny brains.
- The claim that we take dumb people math is also fallacious. We take the same math courses as any other major (and sometimes go even further). Looking at my college's course catalog, most physical science majors and maybe half of the engineering majors stop at Linear Algebra. I have to take up to Abstract Algebra in addition to Statistics II (which is comparable in difficulty to Calc III). This notion that "CS major is dumb math" is bullshit.

- There is no "CS bubble".

- I'm required to take up to junior-level physical science courses. So I basically have 3/4 the core knowledge of any undergraduate physicist, chemist, or (shudder) biologist.

In the end this senseless hate boils down to one incontrovertible fact: I'm almost guaranteed to make more money with my CS degree than any of you /sci/fags will with your petty community college math/physics degrees. The fact that /sci/ is supposed to be the board with the highest average IQ makes it hard to believe barely any valid arguments against CS have been made in this thread. You guys are just bumbling idiots who attempt to give your pathetic lives worth by prattling on about your ostensibly "intellectually superior field of studies". Ergo, fuck off, nerds. I'm glad I picked CS now.
