it was a functional analysis lecture, if i recall correctly
it wasn't a colloquium or anything, it was an actual class. i don't know what the ucla academic calender is but i was visiting in the middle of the semester, so i expected to know nothing and just stare in awe.

Who cares what his reasons are? People who don't accept Choice are idiots, but it's still good math to see what we do and don't need choice for. I think of Wildberger's work like that. I don't care for it myself, but it's interesting as a personal project which others can follow. As long as he's not letting it bleed into his classes, that's perfectly okay.

105 will be fucking based, pugh is legitimately one of the best professors at cal. I already took 202a though, so that's off the table. Sorry. Believe me, I'm sad I don't need to take 105.
Have fun.

>it is the cause of cultural differences
citation needed
it could be correlated, i can see that. not seeing substantial causation from any of the examples you've provided. except for the "differences in brain structures and hormones" which, again, need citations. no, one study or an illustration doesn't mean anything. you'd need a whole lot of data and support to overturn the hundreds and hundreds of studies claiming that those differences have far less effect than environmental factors.
do you know how science works?
