It isn't trival, because it shows just how muddy language can be, since people will have different beliefs about what a sound is, and is shown as an example on how important it is to be crystal clear when dealing with the subject, especial metaphysics.

And you're wrong OP, it requires someone with the ability to to hear it for it to be a sound. Otherwise there's just vibrations.
