>Teh LIBRULS are the true segregationists!1!1!!
Well, a liberal president signed the civil rights act, but sure, whatever you say. Let's say it was really the hardcore conservatives fighting ferociously for racial equality. It still doesn't refute my point: an entire generation raised on segregation is still out there voting, so you shouldn't be surprised if racist rhetoric can bring them to the polls en masse.

>You already presupposed that people were capable of opposing the policy
Trivially true, since they obviously got their way in the end. But Scalia was not among them.
>There are those who contend that it does not benefit African Americans to get them into the University of Texas where they do not do well, as opposed to having them go to a less-advanced school, a slower-track school where they do well.

>but he wuz a democrat
Seems like a favorite tactic of you denialist faggots is to try to shift the argument to semantics and labels where you can rely on pure autism. But whether or not he truly believed in what he said doesn't change the fact that he made himself a symbol. MLK even called him out personally as an enemy in speeches. So Wallace was actually a bleeding heart marxist or something. Great "point." Pic related still went to the polls last year and voted, and I wonder who they voted for?

>We are in 2018.
But the IQ studies are not from 2018, are they? They're all from the 80's and before -- a mere 20 years after integration.

>Negroes are encouraged to go to universities. There is also affirmative action.
You are correct.
So now show the sense to let the results play out before you evaluate them. Anything else is just intellectually dishonest.
The same way there are age 65+ old white men fighting desperately for segregation, and useful idiots marching with tiki torches trying to create a white ethnostate, there are also old blacks perpetuating the old culture.
Just last week I heard a 66-year-old great-grandmother (yes, you heard right: she had her daughter at 16, who had her daughter at 16, who had her daughter at 17) proudly proclaim "my family isn't into books and shit".
Widespread cultural shift doesn't happen overnight.
