>It’s like asking, “How many words does the largest sentence have in it?” And when you respond, “I don’t know, but at any given time, it’s a finite amount”, they say, “No! I can just add a word to it! It’s an actually-infinite sentence with an infinite number of words!”

>the world is finite and discrete
Why?

>and there does not exist a ratio of integers such that C exist
What do you mean by exist?

>You guys are being fooled by academia elitists who want to keep you occupied computing infinite digits, instead of solving real world problems.
Irrational numbers and calculus are used throughout physics, so you're the one spinning your wheels as not sobbing task world problems.

I have a container with a mixture of water and wine. The ratio of water to wine lies between 1/3 and 3. What is the probability that the ratio is less than or equal to 2?

I did a BSc in pure math and an MSc in applied math, however the curriculum lacked dynamical systems theory which I want to study (mostly to understand chaos theory) but every introductory text I find is just some high level overview and doesn't even define a dynamical system in mathematical terms. Should I directly refer to the CT literature? I'm thinking about something from our lord and savior Henri Poincaré since I can read math texts in french.
