I don't know if it's the same for everyone, but in my mind, I have three "channels" of conscious thought; words, images and abstractions. I can't simultaneously think of two separate things at the same time with the same channel, for instance, two different streams of dialogue, but I can if I use different channels. Like, think about one subject with my inner monologue, and a totally unrelated subject with my visual thoughts. Maintaining two separate thought streams is easy, but doing it with three different things requires strong concentration.

Could they have figured out before Einstein's time that gravity is not a force by throwing slaves off of a tower in a box and asking them if at first it felt like when a carriage is accelerating or as if they were floating kind of?

If your mass increases when you approach light speed, does that mean that things moving really fast collapse in on themselves due to their own gravity, possibly even creating black holes?

Okay, what if there was a planet the size of Jupiter, made entirely out of liquid Nitrogen.

What effect on the sun's temperature would that have?
