How is Ol'Musky a fraud? SpaceX is taking over the commercial launch market. Tesla is producing cars by the thousands each week, and that big-ass power grid battery they built in Australia is working fine. Starlink is testing satellites in orbit now. The Boring Company has a test tunnel, and will start building a tunnel from Chicago's airport to the downtown area soon. And so on.

Are you a butthurt ULA employee or a butthurt Russian? SpaceX wouldn't be gobbling up the entire launch market if they were not cheaper than everyone else.

And yes, designing rockets to be reused with as little refurbishment as possible is "groundbreaking" in the sense that it drives launch costs down significantly. Throwing away all the expensive parts for every rocket launch is just stupid.

The crazy part is how little money SpaceX has spent overall on R&D, in the grand scheme of things. The Falcon 9 only took about $400 million to develop. That is something any decent sized nation could have afforded.

What makes you think that the BFR will not fly? SpaceX has generally been hitting its goals, albeit sometimes a few years later than what Ol'Musky promised. Even if the BFR is five years late and cost twice as much to fly as the current projected cost, Martian landings & later on colonies will still be possible.

You say that, yet SpaceX keeps winning contracts by offering rockets for less. I think I will trust their business analysis more than yours.
