Human beings and their creations are part of nature. This “against nature” shit is retarded and backward-thinking. If it wasn’t “natural”, we wouldn't have done it. 150,000 years of human instinct hasn’t failed us yet in the pursuit of better and more effective tools to control or understand things we never thought ourselves capable of, and it isn’t gonna go away anytime soon. I have faith CRISPR will be involved in some revolutionary breaktroughs, but without some sort of socioeconomic upheaval, CRISPR won’t be capable of much in the bureaucratic mechanism of the world health care industry

Your first link is about sodium fluoride. The risks it lists are so severe, it's completely impossible for them to be true without the rapid decay of society. Also, 5-10g as lethal dose. The WHO recommends 5 mg/l, which means that you'd literally need to consume a metric ton of water to die from fluoride poisoning(if it was present in NaF form).

The second link (which you shouldn't have posted, you should have posted the source it refers to) contains a source, which hand-waves the statistics away.
>Confounding from other substances seemed unlikely in most of these studies

And says there's not enough data
>Further characterisation of the dose–response association would be desirable.

Meanwhile:
>Community water fluoridation and caries prevention: a critical review (page name, won't let me post link)
>or the past 50 years, CWF has been considered the most cost-effective measure for the control of caries at the community level. However, it is now accepted that systemic fluoride plays a limited role in caries prevention
As in: it's safe, but why bother.

All this factionalism is 4chan contrarianism, anyone who actually cares about science and knowledge can see the value in all scientific disciplines and understand the need for both theory and practicality in the world. But you stupid high school/undergrad memesters want to have le epic flame wars between math and biology and engineering.

Doesn't it ever get old? I would get incredibly bored of reposing the same memes and quips about how physics is better than engineering or whatever

I used to smoke weed all the time when I was in high school. I thought it was better than adderall in terms of helping me focus and getting things done.
I live in a state where it's still illegal as fuck, and about 8 months ago I got my second posession charge under .5oz and now I'm a felon and probably won't be able to go to uni next semster because my scholarships will be cancelled despite my 3.7 GPA.
I'm not quite sure how the government thinks they're helping me here.

There is literally nothing wrong with studying theoretical physics. All engineers here are just pseudo-intellects who boast about their "god tier" subjects and shun physics.

Yeah, I know it's already been proven, sperglord. However, I do think specific cases have some value for two reasons.

1) Multiple proofs are never a bad thing.
2) More evidence towards deciding if he actually had a proof that could have fit in the margin.

Also, it says n=3 in the first sentence. 2/10, made me reply and sigh a little.

Are you autistic? She takes the shortest Euclidean distance to each of the three sides of the triangle, then adds them all up. You're clearly not smart enough to differentiate between concepts such as perimeter and parameter. 1/10 for making me reply.
