I got my little brother (8 at the time) a circuit kit for kids, and did the little projects with him. He absolutely loved it.
It came with all the pieces (speakers, wires, breadboard, lasers, etc.) and a book that shows you how to make certain systems.

I'm not because I don't let my intelligence interfere with my social interactions. They can know I'm smart, but I'm not gonna show it around like a douche unless someone makes an incorrect statement.

Also most "smart" people pay more attention to their grades instead of their looks. That's just a fact, and there is really nothing wrong with that- but that's why a lot don't have a relationship.
