How much does the randomness in QM matters in the question of free will?
besides the fact that randomness isn't free will can it really matter that much that there could be a different outcome of our actions if we could turn back time?

as someone who doesn't know shit about physics there are a few questions you guys can probably answer me
1. is it possible that the unpredictability in quantum physics is just due to lack of knowledge we have?
2. how does the possible randomness in quantum physics effect us at all, and does it even imply a indeterministic world?

Are genes responsible for intelligence?

Does everyone have the same genes that are responsible for intelligence?

Do all ethnic groups have the same genes that are responsible for intelligence?

How does one decide what one wants to study for the rest of his life?

Personally I have no idea. I wish I could know about everything. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, CS, EE, ME, Neurology, Medicine, Psychology, Art

but even after 3 years of university you only get through the basics. Learning anything takes a lot of time and dedication.

So how does one choose something? How does one even know that one will get a job one likes with ones degree? Personally I would like to do research on Robotics and AI but a lot of people do. Because video games and movies inspired me my expectations are unrealistic. It looks like research is a really unfulfilling field from what I read on the internet. Bad pay and very high requirements.

So what is the best way to find out what to study and get realistic expectations of what one is going to do with ones degree?
