I am working through critical points and finding extrema. I understand that if a point is not in the domain of a function, then it is not a critical point of that function and by definition therefore cannot be an extremum or inflection point of that function — but can a function change signs either side of a point at which it is undefined?

When I test for the sign of the derivative, should I include not only the intervals between the critical points but also either side of points where f is undefined? Is there a non-piecemeal function that increases to the left of a vertical asymptote and decreases to the right of it?

We can only measure by comparison.

Some things can appear out of frame, then we can relate to a frame. Intelligence as ability to reason and think effectively closely relates to subject being framed by the "intelligence" being applied.

/There are many ways to think and there are problems with just one solution.
/How the fuck people can argue about one dimensional number and worry about it so much, when there is so much spaces and colours to apply "intelligence" in.
/Some of perceived intelligence is just "experience". By experiencing problems, you can learn how to solve problems with similarities, you can solve problem by judging it's trait and then having some conclusion, same way as AI does. If you never even seen trace of similar problem or solution, it's quite normal to not understand it.

How the fuck does we as intelligent people have 3 threads about IQ every fucking day?

Yes, all that acceleration applied on a rope won't make counterweight fall from a universe. Like guy's really, those retards with elevator's who can deny acceleration should be better be accelerating with that technology against gravity and don't having stuff on that on elevator.

How does modafinil compare to adderall as a "study drug"?

Are the long term effects of modafinil more benign than the long term effects of adderall/amphetamines?

Any personal anecdotes from people who have taken both?

As a non-student, is there a way to get all the PNAS papers for free?
I mean there are a lot of papers publicly available and some are publicly available a few weeks but then they get restricted.
And I mean anyone with an access to the PNAS papers could just save em all and upload them somewhere, couldn't they?

Correct me because I know I'm wrong.

Compressed air has more energy, uncompressed air has less energy. If Compressed air turns into uncompressed air, then the extra energy in released as kinetic energy i.e heat.

But somehow the opposite is true...
