Fuck OP and all the kids who expect a perfect job right when they graduate.
The world is not a friendly place dammit. Everyone has trouble. You have to accept the situation, and adapt.

I'm studying Aerospace eng., yet have a part time job helping an EE to develop installations in buildings-
(earning shit, but better than nothing).
(I realize it's ridiculous to ask even undergraduates for experience to get a place to work, but experience is not something you get for no reason and with no effort.)

How did I get a job?, putting interest and effort to it, search for people interested in hiring in specialized forums, internet, asking teachers, etc.
It's not easy to find a GOOD job, but almost everyone will hire an enthusiastic worker, willing to sacrifice sleeping hours for a ridiculous salary.
And if you're nice to people and dedicated, no one will have any sort of trouble to give you some sort of recommendation, less if you start working for very small companies.
