Hey guys. AP Calc Test Tomorrow and practicing with the 2008 FRQ's. Have a question.

^ Looking for an explanation on page 6 part b of how in the world e^x + (x-3)e^x becomes (x-2)e^x

Also could you explain part C & D on page 5.
I figured D had something to do with concavity but apparently not and part c I thought since the slope is positive from [2,3] that means speed is going to be increasing
