You're right the cube slowly changes position but its speed is zero.
>wait... woah speed IS the change in position!

Hello /sci/, I am a faggot, a faggot that needs your help nonetheless.

Could you solve..

If variable X has a normal distribution with a mean of zero and a variance of 1, what is the probability that X takes values between -1 and +1

I personally like it and I think that we can learn a lot from philosophy, the way of thinking and shit. But we are not longer in the ancient greece and philosophy has evolved into other sciences.

And for now I think it would be better to study sociology and psychology than philosophy itself. The one thing that apports philosophy is the ''thinking outside the box'' but you can get here without spending years learning about Socrates, Nietzsche, ect.

But related to science as said this guy >>4314667 the main thing to discuss now is the ''morality''.

Don't get me wrong I love philosophy and I would like to study it after I finish computer engineering and math, but I don't think that you should focus on it totally. IMO.

I have to say, that this thread has been one of the most interesting ones I've red. And remarcably civil.

/sci/ needs more threads like these. From sagan, to xenocide to 40k and back to xenocide, I've had wonderful time old chaps. Keep up the good discussion. Human galactic imperialism waits.
