implying
>I will never buy from Apple from this point forward.
holds absolutely no implication that apple products were previously purchased.
If no apple products were purchased in the past, then the statement becomes trivially true. We typically overlook trivially true statements as childish and unnecessary.

I have an easy quantum mechanics question. So my book talks about finding The average position of a particle, <x>, the average momentum of the the particle, <p>, and then continues to show that you can also get <x^2> and <p^2>. But fails to say what these last two represent. So uh...what do these last two represent?

Your proof is false right off the bat. It says "To find a woman you need Time and Money"

"Time and Money" would be Time + Money

if you follow the rest of the proof this means

Woman = 2*root(Problems)

which makes very little sense

Hello /sci/, i'm trying to help a friend with some statistics, he doesn't know what he's doing, and I've never taken a stats class so I'm not sure if I'm leading him down the correct path or not.

We are given a list of 51 data points for 2003, 2004, and for 2005. It wants to know if there is a significant difference in mean percentage in the given years. So I figured you'd find the average value for 2003, average value for 2004, then average value for 2005. Then take the percent difference between 2003 and 2004, then do the same for 2004 and 2005. Is this correct?

And how do you tell if it is significant?
Thank you very much
