Hey /sci/

Does anyone know any good scientific books on the perception of reality.

I really liked the idea put forth by Chaos; Head about reality. Example: If you are holding something in your hand, how do you know it is real? Electrochemical impulses tell you it's real. You can see it, feel it, etc.. but you truly know it's real only when other people "confirm" it--a collective consciousness deal.

It then puts forth the idea of using this process in reverse. What if you can take your thoughts, and display them in a tangible way to other people, in a way, making them real.

Anyway, the whole point of that, does anyone know any good books on this topic or similar topics. Also, feel free to share your own thoughts as well.

What questions are you expecting?
Perhaps people don't know enough to even ask questions which is why you're getting all of those cat questions.

A 67.0 kg person throws a 0.0400 kg snowball forward with a ground speed of 27.0 m/s. A second person, with a mass of 58.0 kg, catches the snowball. Both people are on skates. The first person is initially moving forward with a speed of 2.20 m/s, and the second person is initially at rest. What are the velocities of the two people after the snowball is exchanged? Disregard the friction between the skates and the ice.

the final velocity of the thrower should be 2.18 m/s
the final velocity of the catcher should be .02. but apparently that is wrong. WHY!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

So I've got the buttered toast and my cat ready for this experiment. The question is: how do I get my cat to eat the toast?

> Coal power plant radiates more than nuclear power station
> nobody wants nuclear anywhere near them, even if it's in itself failsafe and can't fucking explode, no matter what you have and do
>coal power plants in every major city pumping CO2 into the earth, waiting until it comes back up Deep Water Horizon style.
