Someone in another thread asked someone if he would get paid for getting a master's degree. Wtf? I understand people can sometimes get their master's degree essentially for free, either with scholarships or by helping out as TAs and such (not sure if the latter means you are literally not charged for your classes, or if you're just paid for helping with TAing etc that offsets the cost of tuition)
But how the fuck can you get PAID to get a masters degree?
