Highschoolfag here. What do I need to do to solve #2? Initial distance from each raptor is 11.547 meters, and I recognize you need to resolve the man's movement into perpendicular component vectors to see how his angle affects displacement from the origin, but because the heading and displacement of each raptor change at a nonconstant rate which does not intuitively follow from the man's heading, I'm not quite sure what to do next. Feels like I need to represent time alive as a function of angle and then find the critical numbers, but I'm not clear as to how.

The context and tone imply that the correct answer is to remain still. How would I verify that?
