Could someone with a year 12 understanding in math (say, mid level) easily learn up to 3rd year University level math?

If so, what resources are worth looking into? I tried Khan Academy but it was mostly shit I can already do.

Non science fag here. What exactly is an electric current? What does current and voltage refer to in regards to a neuron? I'm reading a book on the brain and never did any physics/chemistry. Sorry for my ignorance.

Hey /sci/, I'm interested in doing my Master is Neurobiology, however I'm only a first year University student in Psychological Science. I never did Biology or Chemistry in high school, but did do Physics and Math.

What level of knowledge would I need to get into masters? I'm currently dominating all other students in neurobiology but that's the only related elective I'm doing atm. I intend to do more chem/bio (2 units each semester) starting next semester. What is really needed to excel? What areas should I focus on most (obviously the nervous system, but would pure chem be going too far off track? Obviously organic chem would be better).

Also, generally speaking, are most people doing Masters exceedingly smart? I just have no idea how I am supposed to gauge myself.

I don't think neurobiology is anywhere near that far along yet, and psychology can't tell us shit about that. I'm a chemistry major though so I don't know enough about it. It is interesting though.

Six straight lectures for chemistry, at my University. Not on this subject at all, I just got home and like to read a bit to unwind.
