I'm new to science this really smart guy told me science has inherent limits, is he right?

>"science can't deal with ethics or beauty, because there are no measurement units or repeatable tests for such things"

>science can't deal with "universal laws" or "laws for the universe" because there is only 1 Universe and there is nothing to compare it to, and no repeatable experiments, no controls, no way for humans to access "universals"

>multiverse idea is an interesting explanation for the fine-tuning of the universe, but not empirical science per se since it's untestable

if this is true how can we every get to the theory of everything and truth?
