It was so bad that I am probably the only oldfag left here who actually knows that this happened. End result of the "low quality trolling garbage" purge: 90% of the board traffic is now newfag highschoolers rehashing the same trolling garbage of 2010. While free speech boards like /pol/ crawled through literal schizophrenia and came out improved and resistant to it, this place got babysat and developmentally impaired to the point that it's neither a 4chan board nor a subreddit, but somehow worse than either. Had this never happened we would be having an active AI general, multiple of them, with all the math and papers and prompts and whateverthefuck by now. It would be interesting, people would be having philosophical debates on it, schizos would be trying to come up with novel theories. Instead, all of this is happening over at /g/ while this corpse of a board is stuck repeating the literal same topics of a decade ago >>15123232
