>24 year old brainlet
>barely graduated HS
>been in community college for 5 years (failed classes because lazy alcoholic)
>took intro to inorganic chem (hs level course) 3 times and failed it in the past 18 months
>very upset because i like chemistry
>always get stuck on reaction stoichiometry, lewis dot structures, ionization, etc
>3rd time taking class with same professor
>guy is a doctor in chem and very nice person, humble and caring for his students
>every semester I tell him 'I really love chemistry I'll do better this time!'

>barely passed exam 1

>decide to buckle down and study like a madman, I'm an adult, I should understand this high school level bullshit by now if I just fucking try

>get 98/100

;_; wtf i love science now, I wanna cry, this made me so happy

only thing is, i really hope he doesn't think I'm cheating since I've failed his class for almost 2 years and now all of a sudden when the tests are online I did good... That really worries me, I feel if he had that thought it would disappoint him greatly. I've expressed deeply to him before how badly I want to get better with science.
