Guys, hear me out, please.

I recently decided that I want to pursue a career in the fields of science. I'm particularly interested in physics, quantam mechanics, and biology. I don't know much beyond what you can learn by reading on the internet, so I ask you to reccomend books/websites for me to check out. Also which fields of science would you guys say are the best to study, or for getting a job?

I'm only 14, but mods, please don't ban me, you'd just be denying a poor soul the wonderful world of science. Plus if you ban me my older cousin might get pissed from not being able to use 4chan for a while, this is his computer.

I'm taking honors biology next year as a sophmore. What other some other good, science related classes in highschool to take?

WTF is Michio smoking? How can you prove someone can be transported if it hasn't even been done? Science hasn't been able to create DNA. How they going to be able to even do this?

I've listened through several hours of this guy talking, and i've yet to hear a single thing you can't get from reading a few articles in a popular science rag. What is he so well regarded for? Has he like, ever said anything that actualy taught anybody something useful? It all seems like fluff to me.

It's like the pseudo-scientific equivalent of stand-up comedy, or motivational speakers, with no point, no substance. He doesn't seem particularly insightful, intelligent or even funny and charismatic.

The only reason he's famous must be because he's self-promoting like nobody else in the business, plus he looks strange and has a funny name. Hell, the damn name is probably half the reason anyone knows about him, anyway. What do you others think?
