There exist such a thing as a beautiful chess game. It is well recognised that computers don't play "beautifully" or "intuitively", they play purely artificial. That's why some moves are called "computer moves", because only a computer with massive calculating ability could reach the conclusion that that particular move is best. GM's will play by intuition, or "feeling" mostly.

I find myself becoming more and more distant from the standard normal belief system (if, for sake of my point you can imagine such a thing existing).

I find myself censoring my self in the company of family and friends, refusing to speak what I actually believe for fear of being ostracized.
