They did a very bad job of attaching it to real world examples. I think anyone besides an autist probably struggled with math in grade school and on until it "clicked" that all that fucking work was geometric in nature.

We are talking about American education, right?

Anyway I think the possibility of infinite dimensions is very high. The only question is, "when" did this timeline skip occur, and what event triggered it?

You'd really need to talk to a theoretical physicist about the specifics, but the theory isn't looking all too hypothetically impossible lately.
