Note that even amongst Republicans, there is a majority supporting action to curb climate change.
It will rapidly climb to become one of the biggest issues in the coming couple of years as we continue to experience climate change first hand.

Nations are failing to meet these goals because the US backed out and refused to do its part. If everyone is not invested then the agreement falls apart. It only works if everyone is working together at the same time. Most countries are already invested in tackling climate change, but it will be futile for them to act if the US is just going to keep polluting and laughing at them.

China needs to go balls to the wall with molten salt reactors or we're fucked. Everything is hopeless unless they get their shit together. Molten salt is the only nuclear power they can possibly manage, because every plant worker can fall in a sink hole, get stabbed in a knife attack, ran over with a car, or blown up by fireworks, and the radiation will stay contained.
