What about civil engineering?

I know it's less popular than high tech majors, but it's nonetheless the oldest and most traditional field of engineering you can get. And there's stil a deficit of civil engineers in most countrys.

Any opinion on this formation is fine for me. I'm considering swithcing formations.

Is the comet not visible to the naked eye from the ground or what? I'm not interested in the space probes or ground observatories with their powerful telescopes.

So, we know of animals that have much longer life spans than humans do. But how do we know that certain species live to be an average of something like 175 years old if nobody is alive long enough to observe it that long?

why don't we do something similar for dividing by zero?

I had a dream where an explosion happened. Right as the boom went off, I woke up with straight opened eyes and heard the sound of a thunderstorm. How could my brain make a perfect timing with the boom and the sound of the thunder?

There's a triangular mirror that is placed against the x,y,z axes at the points (4,0,0), (0,4,0) and (0,0,4). Hey /sci/ I figure most of you have been invited to "honor societies" and I was wondering what you all thought about them.

I ask because I got an invitation to The National Society of Leadership and Success or Sigma Alpha Pi. The invitation expires in a week. I would totally do it if it was free, but it's almost $100 to be inducted. I'm not sure if it's worth the price, or if it's just fluff for transfer admissions.

Also worth mentioning is that I am transferring to a 4-year next semester and I'm not sure if my membership will transfer or if the college will even have this society.
