Here.

I just talked to him. He sounded like it was all just a big waste of his time with snowflake matters, and we had a quick talk about what happens next. I'll prepare a document making my defense, responding to the formal denounce. Thankfully I have documental evidence of everything I said (it was all written chat, after all).

Now, imagine if I had no proofs of what I said?

Not trying to be rude here, but I feel that all you really need is already waiting for you somewhere on the internet. You could google something like, "how to store plant samples" or something akin to that, and as far as organizing your samples goes, you could even use Wikipedia to find the hierarchical classifications of each organism (DKPCOFGS). To classify organisms, you could just search up "identify this [plant/animal/fungus]" in google and go from there if you aren't too knowledgeable already. This sounds like real fun OP, so good luck! I feel that when you start doing it and discover how truly complex and bustling-with-life your daily surroundings are, you'll gain an even deeper appreciation for it. Have fun.

In case anybody is wondering, White is still doing warp experiments, the biggest issue right now is that he needs more sensitive equipment for the interferometer. At the 2013 100 Year Starship thing, he announced that a very weak positive may have been detected a few times, giving some hope that his research may be on the right track. Of course, it will take more sensitive equipment to determine if this positive is real or a false one generated by inaccurate measurements.
