Ok, think about it this way. If you're picture is indeed a Gausian bell curve function, then the total area under the curve remains constant with respect to the standard deviation parameter [math] \sigma [/math].

So if one changes parameter from the wider curve to the narrower, but taller curve, the total area under the curve will remain the same. The green area will be the area "lost" and the pink area will be the area "gained" but the total change is zero. So the area lost is equal to the area gained, so the pink area does indeed equal the green area.

We need a way to authenticate the low IQ from the high IQ. Perhaps there's a test which would provide an authentication certificate of high IQ. If we suspect someone having low IQ, we can ask them to see their certificate of IQ. If they don't comply, the mods will take care of the situation.
