Most of those are largely useless, except for a few older results.
Examples:

>differential equations
Mathematicians waste their time proving existence and uniqueness for highly artificial classes of PDE. Outside of the math department your boss just wants a quick approximation via an already existing computer tool.

>probability
Everyone outside of math department has their models they had for decades. Changing them would be a waste of money and time.

>analysis, combinatorics
Very few formulas from these are used (e.g. Fourier transform, binomial coefficient). And there your task is just to plug in numbers with a calculator tool. Anything beyond that is just an autistic hobby.
