What's /sci/'s favourite element and why?

So, /sci/, memorized me yet?

Why is there more of carbon and oxygen than say lithium. Lithium is lower on the table so one would think It would form via fission first and would be more abundant but this is not the case. Does it have to do with these elements fussing more quickly or perhaps form less readily/easily.
