Yeah, I'm kinda with this.
I'm pretty sure that this organism is still rooted with everything else, but then later evolved to use arsenic.

Still, it does prove that it's possible. The question is: could life begin in an arsenic rich/phosphorous poor environment instead of just adapting to it?
I'd prefer to think it can.

Well, you'd essentially be putting your entire body weight on one foot with every step (a lot of force over a small area) and have the water hold you up. To me, it seems like it's probably fake.
