Could the physiologist account for the sensation of colour if he had fuller knowledge than he has of the processes in the retina and the nervous processes set up by them in the optical nerve bundles and in the brain?

When asked what is the sum total of conscious minds in the universe, this man answered, "one."

This man's name is Erwin Schrödinger.

How does ESP work? All places and all things are one. You are one with Schrödinger. You are one with me, OP. Feel the love anon. For you are not anon... you are, me.

If you can't understand the basic principle on which a bicycle pump operates, the entire modern world must appear a miracle. You might as well throw yourself prostrate before a city bus driver like an old testament prophet.

The sensation of colour cannot be accounted for by the physicist's objective picture of light-waves. Could the physiologist account for it, if he had fuller knowledge than he has of the processes in the retina and the nervous processes set up by them in the optical nerve bundles and in the brain? I do not think so.

OK ppl so I need serious help here. I have an exam tommorow and I cant solve this so pls listen up:

Calculate the allowed (bound (sorry for bad sci english)) energy states for ana electron that is in a potential hole with the shape of Diracs function U(x)=-C*(dirac(x)), where C is a positive constant and then calculate their numerical values. Me, C, and h-bar are known.

PLS HELP SCI

"It is not possible that this unity of knowledge, feeling and choice which you call your own should have sprung into being from nothingness at a given moment not so long ago; rather this knowledge, feeling and choice are essentially eternal and unchangeable and numerically one in all men, nay in all sensitive beings. But not in this sense—that you are a part, a piece, of an eternal, infinite being, an aspect or modification of it, as in Spinoza's pantheism. For we should have the same baffling question: which part, which aspect are you? What, objectively, differentiates it from the others? No, but inconceivable as it seems to ordinary reason, you—and all other conscious beings as such—are all in all. Hence this life of yours which you are living is not merely a piece of the entire existence, but is in a certain sense the whole; only this whole is not so constituted that it can be surveyed in one single glance."

Science is only now beginning to understand what Eastern philosophy has known for centuries.

>Hasn`t read about Schrödinger's cat though experiment and the implementation of the copenhagen interpretation.

>The Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics implies that after a while, the cat is simultaneously alive and dead. Yet, when we look in the box, we see the cat either alive or dead, not both alive and dead.

As long as there`s no interaction with particle`s that never did interact with an intellegent observer, the cat would technically still be in a closed system.

Even if we would hook the cat to a harth rithm measurement.
Although a lot of interactions take place, it would still do both at the same time measuring harth rithms and giving a long beep as long as the device isn`t observed and stays in that kind of a closed system.

When will we discover the next new science?

My money's on the science of psychic energy when science has developed enough to detect it.
