Because there are many schizo posters here and they identify with other schizos. It's really that simple.
I've recently met a lot of mega autists and schizos. There's a lot of them in undergrad science and engineering courses, usually believe they are the next great genius, look down on other students, and some really freak out when they lose points on labs and tests. It's been eye-opening to say the least.
After one REALLY bizarre encounter I talked to a friend who is a licensed psychiatrist about how to handle these people and what I was told shocked me. The long and short of it is this: you can't reason with them.

Schizophrenia affects ~1.2% of Americans; that's 3.2 MILLION people. They walk among us. You probably know at least one.
The whole thing kind of ruined 4chan for me. This is a place where schizos congregate in large numbers. The /pol/tard you're arguing with might actually be a paranoid schizophrenic, literally impervious to reason. On the plus side, I don't waste as much time here.
