Romantic love is dead, but science didn't kill it. Premarital sex, the pill, nudity and porn, feminism, Tinder and the college rape scare did. By the time the average roastie reaches 18 she's already used goods hardly worthy (or interested in) having a rap song written about her, much less a love sonnet. Ironically, the only people left in the West who still believe in romantic love are incels and the religious, both of which are shunned in mainstream "polite" society

I've seen a lot of graphs like pic related thrown around, and there's also the "having sex with multiple partners lowers women's pair bonding ability".
But how much of it is actually true? Is this topic even studied thoroughly? What are the effects of promiscuity in men and women (if there are any), and are there any differences?
