If you spit into a toilet and an intact viscous trail travels back up to your mouth, how likely is it that bacteria from the toilet would be transmitted to your mouth?

I can understand that atheists like to believe in evolution, just like christians believe in their God.
But evolution isn't more than a theory, a guess.
And it's impossible to prove or disprove.
Am I right?

>was 17 when I decided there was no reason to believe in a god
>was living in Romania back then
>told my parents that I don't want to go to church with them

sup /sci/ i have a tough physics problem for ya, not sure where to go...

A walkway suspended across a hotel lobby is supported at numerous points along its edges by a vertical cable above each point and a vertical column underneath. The steel cable is 1.27cm in diamter and is 5.75m long before loading. The aluminum column is a hollow cylinder with an inside diameter of 16.14cm and an outside diameter of 16.24cm, and an unloaded length of 3.25m. When the walkway exerts a force of 8500N on one of the support points, through what distance does the point move down?

I have Y of steel = 20x10^10 Y aluminum = 7x10^10

any ideas how to go about this?
